Workshops are back – whenever they are allowed!

I’m now running occasional in-person workshops in line with current Government guidelines.

Following a 6-month enforced hiatus during Lockdown #1, I started running regular in-person workshops again in September 2020, in line with current Government guidelines. My November workshop had to be cancelled due to Lockdown #2 but I’m hoping to continue in December and into 2021, whenever regulations allow.

We’re in a new venue, with lots of outside space for when the weather is kind to us and a well-ventilated village hall for when it isn’t!

Covid-19 update: Due to the ongoing situation and regular changes in Government guidelines, I am currently only releasing dates a few weeks in advance. As ‘organised exercise’ in ‘a Covid-secure venue’ these workshops are not subject to the Rule of 6, however I always keep numbers intentionally low and my workshops tend to sell out quickly. To make sure you’re the first to hear about new dates, join my mailing list.

“Your unique way of taking each posture a step at a time helped me to almost fall effortlessly, easily and thoughtfully into the posture and really experience what that feels like.” – Daphne

We all tend to spend most of our waking hours ‘in our heads’. When we consciously reconnect to our body, we ground ourselves, reminding our mind that it’s ok to stop, to be still. We make space for our Self.

I choose intimate venues and keep numbers intentionally low to ensure that each workshop offers a tranquil, peaceful experience for all participants.

“What a treat for my mind, body and spirit. Helen’s attention to care is obvious throughout as she gently guides you through movement and stillness. I can’t recommend Helen enough.” – Katy

Whether you’re a regular at my yoga classes, haven’t been for ages or have never managed to get to any of them, a Blended Therapy workshop is the perfect way to press pause on your life for a few hours, making time to breathe, to be still and to (re)connect with your Self.

It’s also a great way to spend some time with me if you’re considering working with me on a 1:1 basis to create lasting change in your life.

“Throughout the workshop … you provided an environment and platform for peace and tranquility … I was able to totally relax and feel attuned to myself … [a] sense of being held and nurtured and nourished, a true gift!” – Sheryl

Private and group workshops

In addition to my public Mind Body Connect workshops I also work with small groups of friends or colleagues to create a bespoke, retreat-style experience at a time and place of their choosing. This can be a wonderful alternative to a spa day if you are looking for a conscious, connected way to celebrate a special birthday, forthcoming wedding or other milestone.

If you would like to know more, and you believe that you have a group/location that would allow us to work within current guidelines, please contact me to discuss your requirements.

Mind-Body Connect Half Day Workshop, Petersfield

Saturday 31st August, 10am-1pm

The second of two half-day workshops in August, this is an opportunity to step away from your busy life for a few hours, making time to breathe and (re)connect with your Self. Why not book into both and guarantee yourself some non-negotiable me-time this summer?

The workshops are a great way to deepen an existing yoga practice but are also suitable for anyone who’s interested in taking time to reconnect with their body, with or without previous yoga experience.

There are just 8 places available on each and the exact format will reflect the needs of the people in the room on the day, but is likely to include:

  • Asanas (postures): Mindful exploration of traditional Hatha yoga postures for grounding, centring and stability
  • Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) – a powerful and deeply relaxing experience during which you lie in Savasana (relaxation) pose during a guided meditation
  • Sound work: using our voice is a great way of connecting with our body; we will explore some simple sounds (absolutely no singing ability required!)
  • Silent sitting: sitting quietly and watching our own breath is one of the most beneficial things we can do, and doing so as a group can be particularly powerful
  • Price: £25 per person
  • Date: Saturday 31st August 2019, 10am-1pm
  • Venue: Worcester House Holistic Centre, 4 Dragon Street, Petersfield, Hampshire, GU31 4JD

To book your place on either or both workshops or to discuss if they are right for you, call Helen on 01730 750272, call/text 07480 068176‬ or e-mail me now!
