Reducing our toxic load
In common with many people who experience health challenges, one of the first things I did during my recovery from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) was to cut out processed and refined foods. The natural next step was to look for other ways to reduce my toxic load, by switching my skincare and cleaning products for ones containing no unnecessary chemical “nasties”.
Along the way I tried a lot of products, many of them both ethically excellent and highly effective, but in late 2017 I was introduced to the wonderful world of high quality essential oils. I can’t say that it was love at first sight – the honest truth is that initially I was HUGELY resistant to the idea, for reasons that I didn’t really understand. However, eventually I worked my way through these feelings enough to sign up for an introductory package of oils, and I can safely say that I’ve never looked back!
